Policy Officer
About Triangle
Triangle is dedicated to bridging the gap between policy-making, empirical research, and media to yield enduring outcomes for our clients, create a fulfilling environment for our team, and make a positive impact on the communities where we operate. Through our policy and journalism arm—Badil—we utilize incisive reporting, evidence-based analysis, and diverse communication strategies to raise awareness, shape narratives, and influence policy solutions across a wide range of topics. By combining rigorous inquiry with effective storytelling, we seek to empower individuals and communities to have a more significant influence on the policy decisions that shape their lives.
As an expanding organization, we are looking for driven individuals who can bring their expertise, ambition, and fresh ideas to strengthen our mission. Our work environment is multilingual and highly collaborative, with staff dispersed across multiple time zones and countries. Therefore, we seek colleagues who can work independently, manage projects, and deliver exceptional results. In return, we offer substantial autonomy and opportunities for professional growth. If this aligns with what you've been looking for, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Position Summary
The Policy Officer will play a central role in the development of political and policy analysis, writing, and external representation for Badil, while also supporting Triangle's wider project work as needed. This is a substantive, ownership-level role: the Policy Officer will independently identify and pursue a coherent area of political and policy focus on Lebanon (and ideally Syria/WANA), represent the organization publicly, and contribute to business development, while working under the guidance of directors and/or team leaders.
We are looking for someone with deep, first-hand grounding in Lebanese and regional politics, who understands the progressive orientation of the organization and can engage with senior colleagues on political developments.
