SUMMARY:

Assists in the finishing of parts in after they have been painted.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demask finished parts and make an inspection of the part to ensure no damage is done.
  • Perform a finish of the part(s) after painting is completed using the specified products outlined in the work instruction. Products may include wax, compound, or polish.
  • Finish surfaces by polishing with sandpaper, pumice, compound, wax or other materials.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Maintains cleanliness of spray booth
  • Positions articles in jigs or erects ladders or scaffolding
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or approved by the Paint Manager
