The Pool Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and safety of the pool area food and beverage operations. This leadership role ensures a positive and secure experience for all members and guests by overseeing food and beverage operations and staff, enforcing safety rules, and maintaining a clean and well-organized environment. The Pool Supervisor is the primary point of contact for all pool-related matters and plays a key role in upholding the club's high standards of service and safety, all aimed at fostering connections and ensuring our team thrives together in a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Member and Guest Relations & Communications
- Deliver service with care and attention, always prioritizing quality and the well-being of the Members.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members and guests, addressing questions, concerns, or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, encouraging a positive experience for all pool patrons.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations and a consistent level of service
- Leadership & Staff Management
- Supervise, train, and mentor all pool staff ensuring they are proficient in their roles and adhere to all club policies.
- Create and manage daily staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency, especially during peak hours.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and in-service training sessions to review safety protocols, emergency procedures, and customer service standards.
- Conduct and provide constructive feedback to staff, addressing any disciplinary issues as needed.
- Safety & Operations
- Enforce all pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment.
- Respond to all emergencies, administering first aid, CPR, or rescue techniques as necessary, and completing all required incident reports.
- Oversee the daily opening and closing procedures of the pool facility, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and secure.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department on any necessary repairs or maintenance of the pool facility and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all club policies and procedures.
- Any other duties, as assigned.
