The work hours for this position are Mon-Fri, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.

We’re Looking for…

A dependable, service-minded team member who enjoys staying active, keeping spaces organized, and helping daily operations run smoothly. As a Day Porter / Food Service Driver, you’ll help maintain a clean, welcoming workplace while delivering prepared meals and pantry supplies to designated locations.

This hands-on role combines cleaning, food service support, and driving. You’ll work closely with our culinary, front-of-house, catering, and pantry teams to keep workspaces ready and deliveries on time.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect and clean assigned areas throughout the day, following established routines and responding to service needs.
• Use cleaning tools and equipment safely, including dusters, brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners.
• Operate a company delivery vehicle to transport prepared foods and pantry products from the production kitchen to designated sites on a scheduled route.
• Load, transport, unload, and distribute food containers, hot carts, utensils, and supplies safely.
• Complete daily deliveries, inventory pickups, and product drop-offs accurately and on time.
• Support kitchen, front-of-house, catering, and remote pantry operations with deliveries, stocking, and organization.
• Maintain proper product rotation, labeling, and cleanliness in walk-in coolers and food storage areas.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean inside and out, maintain delivery logs and vehicle maintenance records, and report concerns promptly.
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, managers, and delivery vendors.
• Follow workplace safety, food safety, HACCP, sanitation, and internal audit procedures, including required personal protective equipment.
• Assist the shift lead with daily task lists and support other departments during staffing shortages or busy periods.
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Driving is an essential responsibility of this position. A valid driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check are required to operate a company vehicle.

The Physical Side of the Job

• Work on your feet for up to eight hours per day, excluding breaks, with periods of sitting while driving.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, with frequent handling of lighter items.
• Push and pull carts, supplies, and equipment requiring at least 30 pounds of force.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive tasks during cleaning, stocking, and deliveries.
• Work in hot and cold environments, including kitchens and refrigerated storage areas.
• Work efficiently under time pressure during peak service and delivery periods.
• Wear required work attire and personal protective equipment, and follow safe lifting and handling practices.
