Job Summary

The part-time Porter is responsible for the daily janitorial functions and upkeep of grounds & common areas at the assigned property. Ensures that the physical condition of the property satisfies ownership and management objectives.

Essential Duties

• Responsible for general upkeep of the buildings and grounds of the property with curb appeal and resident satisfaction as top priority.
• Perform janitorial work as required to maintain the cleanliness of the common areas of the property.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians in the “turnover” of vacant apartments in an expeditious manner to avoid the loss of any rental income.
• Responsible for the care and use of the property’s janitorial and maintenance supplies, performing a monthly inventory and making recommendations to the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager for the purchase of supplies and equipment.
• Operate power equipment as required for yard maintenance work and cleaning of the interior & exterior of buildings.
