Job Description – Lot Porter/Detailer - Sales

The Lot Porter / Detailer supports the Sales Department by maintaining dealership vehicle inventory, organizing vehicle displays, and assisting with washing, cleaning, fueling, and detailing vehicles to ensure dealership appearance standards are maintained and vehicles are properly prepared for display or customer delivery. This position may also assist with transporting vehicles throughout the dealership and to outside locations as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance and organization of the new and used vehicle lots
• Park and arrange vehicles according to dealership standards and management direction
• Assist with moving vehicles between departments to support dealership operations
• Wash, vacuum, clean, fuel, and detail vehicles to maintain dealership appearance standards and prepare vehicles for inventory display or customer delivery
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance concerns and report issues to management
• Install and maintain vehicle key tags, stock tags, and window stickers
• Transport vehicles to other dealerships, vendors, auctions, or designated locations as requested
• Assist with customer vehicle pickup or delivery using dealership vehicles when needed
• Maintain cleanliness and professionalism of dealership grounds, detail areas, and vehicle display areas
• Follow all dealership safety policies and traffic regulations while operating vehicles
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

This position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
