Right in the heart of State College, PA, you'll find the area's newest and most exciting entertainment destination. Happy Valley Casino, located inside The Nittany Mall, has brought the region's first-ever gaming facility to life. Featuring over 600 slot machines, 30+ table games, cocktail service, and multiple dining venues, we're quickly becoming the premier entertainment destination in Happy Valley.

We're seeking dependable, hardworking, and motivated Porters to support our Food & Beverage operations. If you're organized, enjoy physically active work, and take pride in maintaining efficient operations behind the scenes, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You'll Do

As a Porter, you'll play an essential role in ensuring our Food & Beverage outlets remain stocked, organized, and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies, inventory, equipment, and requested materials to designated Food & Beverage outlets throughout the property.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health department regulations and sanitation requirements.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and transporting stock and supplies.
• Utilize hand trucks and other equipment safely and efficiently to move materials.
• Maintain clean, organized storage and work areas.
• Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and organizational skills to support daily operations.
• Adapt to changing operational needs and maintain scheduling flexibility.
• Support team members and departments as needed to ensure efficient operations.
• Promote exceptional guest and team member relations through professionalism and teamwork.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous stockroom, warehouse, inventory, porter, or related experience preferred.
• Experience using a hand truck or similar material-handling equipment preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout a shift lasting 6-8 hours.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling physical demands safely and efficiently.

Additional Information

Casino employees may be required to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. The cost of licensure is covered by Happy Valley Casino.
