We're looking for a Portfolio Analyst to provide financial, resource, and delivery support across IT projects, ensuring accurate reporting, insight, and governance for senior stakeholders. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering timely and reliable financial data, coordinating resource tracking, and enabling smooth project execution while supporting process improvement and portfolio management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute financial operations including forecasting, cost recovery, accruals, and month-end close, escalating risks as needed.
- Prepare, refine, and present financial data and analytical outputs to senior stakeholders.
- Track resources and effort across projects, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
- Support GMs and EMs with analytical insights, responding to ad hoc requests.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain databases and perform quality assurance to ensure reliable data for reporting and analysis.
- Apply PMO framework knowledge to align outputs with portfolio governance standards.
- Liaise with Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth operations.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Proven experience in financial and project support, including offshore or hybrid teams.
- Strong financial acumen, advanced Excel, and financial modelling skills.
- Experience in resource tracking, reporting, and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with PMO environments and CapEx project support.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience with timesheeting systems, database maintenance, and change delivery.
- Proactive approach to identifying risks and supporting portfolio or project governance.
