Portfolio Analyst | Hybrid - Makati
Role Summary
The IT Foundation & Operations (ITOF) Portfolio Analyst supports portfolio governance and performance management across IT Operations & Foundation teams and initiatives. This role supports alignment of portfolio activities with strategic objectives, facilitates prioritization of deliverables, and drives transparency through standardized reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Governance & Planning
- Support the ITOF Portfolio Manager in managing portfolio performance and governance
- Maintain portfolio quality and enforce portfolio management policies
- Support prioritization of initiatives based on strategic alignment and resource capacity
- Coordinate regular portfolio sync meetings and assist with Strategic Portfolio Reviews
- Serve in an advisory and analytical capacity, influencing decisions through data and recommendations
Analytics, Data Management & Reporting
- Analyze portfolio, delivery, and financial data to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps
- Ensure in-scope epics have EP IDs in ADO and align with Enterprise Performance and value delivery standards
- Build, maintain, and validate datasets used for portfolio reporting (ADO, TargetProcess, Power BI)
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reports to communicate portfolio health
- Perform data quality checks, reconcile inconsistencies across systems, and ensure reporting accuracy
- Track interdependencies and proactively surface risks using data signals and performance indicators
- Monitor and analyze EPMO and ADO reports to provide actionable insights on progress, throughput, and outcomes
Stakeholder Engagement & Data Enablement
- Collaborates with Epic Owners to ensure initiatives and epics met ADO Standards, well-defined, strategically aligned, have EP ID (if applicable) and progressing according to timelines
- Partner with Epic Owners to ensure initiatives are well defined, measurable, and progressing as planned
- Translate complex data into clear, concise insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with Product Line Leaders, Portfolio Managers, and EPMO teams to improve portfolio transparency
- Provide training and guidance on data standards, reporting practices, and portfolio analytics
- Support change management activities related to portfolio metrics, reporting enhancements, and tooling improvements
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT portfolio management, project governance, or data/analytics-focused roles
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Power BI (data modeling, measures, dashboards)
- Proven ability to analyze large datasets and convert data into meaningful business insights
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, cross functional environment
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with data modeling, and performance measurement frameworks
- Working knowledge of SQL, advanced Excel, or similar data analysis tools
- Familiarity with financial or capacity data within IT portfolios
- Experience supporting executive or senior leadership reporting
