Portfolio Finance Trader SBL Specialist
You will support APAC inventory management, manage the firm's stock borrowing process, monitor borrow markets, identify trading opportunities, secure hard-to-borrow names, enhance desk models and workflows, and partner with risk, clearing, and trading functions.
Responsibilities
- Support APAC inventory management tasks
- Handle the full life cycle of the firm's stock borrowing process
- Follow borrow markets and identify trading opportunities
- Secure hard-to-borrow and event names
- Develop and enhance desk models, tools, and operational workflows
- Partner with Risk, Clearing, and trading teams to support daily trading activities
- Identify and develop new procedures, countries of coverage, and process automation
- Provide regional assistance for APAC portfolio finance requests and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in buy-side or sell-side Portfolio Finance, SBL Trading, Repo, or Strats roles covering major APAC markets
- Python or other programming languages
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
