The Opportunity

The Molecule Portfolio & Data Products Business Analyst supports integrated molecule, study, asset, non-molecule and medical-device planning across the R&D lifecycle. You will enable trusted planning data, reusable data products and governed self-service analytics, partnering with Business Product Owners, SMEs and RDT delivery teams to achieve measurable adoption and value. Join an evolving PPM ecosystem and see how scientific ideas progress toward patient impact.

Job Responsibilities

Manages one prioritized backlog in Jira and Confluence, keeping RDT engineering and QA work developer-ready. Uses GenAI to draft, refine and stress-test requirements while maintaining traceability, data ethics and human accountability.
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Advises R&D stakeholders and SMEs on feasibility, cost and alignment with RDT strategy. Brings the voice of the business and its scientific and operational context to data engineers, software developers and QA teams. Builds consensus across pRED, gRED, PD, PTD, Finance, Decision Intelligence, Resource Management and external vendors.

BABOK-aligned BA certification (e.g., CCBA/CBAP), project management certification (e.g., PMP/PRINCE2) or Agile certification is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to lead complex end-to-end BA assignments autonomously and contribute to cross-functional RDT solution delivery.
  • Understanding of PPM concepts and lifecycle-driven processes; pharmaceutical or life-sciences experience is a plus, ideally in Pharma R&D, molecule or non-molecule lifecycles, study or asset planning, or drug development.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced requirements-engineering skills covering elicitation, process and data-flow mapping, Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Definitions of Ready and Done, traceability, gap analysis and solution validation; proficiency with Jira, Confluence and Scrum-style delivery.

  • Practical use of GenAI to improve BA productivity and requirements quality; experience with governed AI prototypes, proofs of concept, or hackathons is a plus.

Additional Qualifications

  • Consultative, customer-oriented communicator who can advise business leaders, translate between technical and non-technical audiences, facilitate decisions and resolve ambiguity.
  • Analytical, collaborative and delivery-focused, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret molecule, study, asset and portfolio data, coach colleagues and improve team practices.
