Portfolio Manager - Vietnam equities

Job Title: Portfolio Manager (Vietnam Equities)

We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to manage an equity fund investing in Vietnam equities. The successful candidate will be expected to be actively involved in various aspects of stock-portfolio construction including due diligence, execution of buy and sell trades.

Candidates invited for interview should be prepared to present two stock ideas with investment theses to be prepared and discussed in a face-to-face setting.

Main Responsibilities:

· Selecting and managing stocks within a portfolio to align with the fund’s specific investment objectives.

· Actively rebalance portfolios to offset potential market losses and manage volatility.

· Analyse available financial and economic data, and track economic trends to identify investment opportunities, assess company valuations and price drivers.

· Communicate investment strategies to investors and stakeholders, answer fund-related inquiries, and market the fund to potential investors to raise capital.

· Produce performance reports on schedule summarising profits and losses and reporting fund to management and team members.

· Contribute to the investment process via internal collaboration with the Chief Investment Officer and the investment team.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum of two years of Vietnam equity portfolio management experience.

· Have a strategic mentality to evaluate the investment reasons and the impact of every investment.

· Deep understanding of financial metrics, forecasting, and valuation.

· Strong people skills, written and verbal communication skills and relationship building skills for reporting and marketing.

· Professional competence in Bloomberg and Microsoft Office.

· Bachelor’s Degree or higher, CFA preferred.

· Only Singaporean and Singapore Permanent Residents.

Expected Salary: min. S$8,000
