Inbank is a financial technology company with an EU banking license that connects merchants, consumers, and financial institutions on its next-generation embedded finance platform. Our financing solutions are embedded seamlessly into the shopping journey of 6,000+ retailers. This helps our merchant partners grow their businesses, while end customers benefit from a frictionless shopping experience wherever they are. With a focus on innovation and growth, we are looking for talented people to join our team of 440+ working across our offices in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

Due to our growth ambitions, we are looking for an experienced Portfolio Planning and Performance Analyst to join our Tallinn office.

As a Portfolio Planning and Performance Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping Inbank’s portfolio and financial planning across the Group. You will take ownership of planning and analyzing our credit and rental portfolios, assessing product economics and translating financial and market developments into clear insights for management.

Working across our markets and closely with Finance, Treasury, Credit Risk & Control, Commercial and Product teams, you will help us understand where and how to grow profitably. Your analysis and recommendations will support decisions on portfolio growth, product mix, pricing and the efficient use of capital.

This is a highly visible role for someone who combines strong financial and analytical skills with commercial thinking and is comfortable turning complex information into recommendations for senior management.

What will you be doing?

  • Formulate strategic plans for credit and rent portfolios across the Inbank group, translating growth ambitions into forecasts for new sales, portfolio development and product mix.
  • Prepare short- to medium-term forecasts as well as 3-year strategic plans. Work closely with Treasury, Commercial and Product teams to connect financial planning with funding, credit risk, pricing and market realities.
  • Analyse product-level economics and profitability, identify emerging trends and highlight opportunities or areas requiring management attention.
  • Use measures such as Economic Value Added (EVA) and other risk-adjusted profitability metrics to assess portfolio and product performance, including risk-return and capital-efficiency considerations
  • Model alternative growth, pricing, product mix and market scenarios to understand their impact on portfolio performance and profitability.
  • Turn complex financial and portfolio data into concise written commentary, executive-level insights and actionable recommendations for management.
  • Provide recommendations on portfolio growth, product mix and pricing, helping identify potential performance issues early and supporting corrective actions.

What would help you succeed in this role?

  • Around 3 years of an experience in portfolio management, financial modelling, planning and analysis, capital planning, financial management or a similar analytical role within banking, fintech or financial services.
  • An understanding of credit portfolio dynamics, banking or lending economics, product profitability and balance sheet drivers.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, with the ability to understand the drivers behind portfolio and financial performance.
  • Familiarity with risk-adjusted performance concepts such as EVA, RAROC or similar measures would be an advantage.
  • Confidence working with large datasets and analytical tools. Experience with Excel and at least one analytical or data tool, such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI or Tableau, would be beneficial.
  • Ability to look beyond the numbers, understand what is driving performance and translate analysis into practical business recommendations.
  • Confidence presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and working effectively across multiple teams and markets.
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Data Analytics or another relevant field.

Our offer to you:

  • A competitive salary tailored to your experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Wellbeing support through sports compensation or additional health insurance to help you stay active and healthy.
  • Extra vacation days after your third year, giving you more time to rest and recharge.
  • A 6-week paid sabbatical after four years, recognising strong performance and long-term contribution.
  • A dynamic and inspiring work environment where you’re encouraged to grow and take ownership of your work.
  • Flexibility through a hybrid and autonomous way of working, built on trust and accountability.
  • The opportunity to collaborate with talented international colleagues across multiple markets.
  • Regular team events and additional perks that make work more enjoyable and help celebrate successes together.
