Summary
JTX Media is hiring a remote, full-time Post Production Project Manager (contractor) to keep client video projects on schedule: managing contract editors, sourcing new editors, reviewing cuts, handling client feedback, and doing light fixes like reformatting or captioning. Requires strong English and people/project management; video editing experience is a big plus.
- Keep track of every project in post and keep timelines moving
- Manage our contract editors by setting clear expectations and deadlines
- Source and onboard new editors depending on project needs and availability
- Review cuts and give notes before anything goes to a client
- Send videos to clients, clarify feedback, generally make sure the video edits match their expectations and needs
- Handle quick fixes yourself when that's faster than sending them back, like reformatting a video or adding captions
- Strong English Fluency. All work will be done in English.
- Experience managing contractors or employees
- A track record of setting clear expectations and getting projects delivered on time
- Clear, confident written communication, since most of the work happens over email
Video editing experience is a huge plus. You'll know the terminology, know how to give creative notes to editors, and be able to jump in on light edits.
$2,000 - 2,500USD per month, depending on experience and fit
- 14 days of paid time off per year
- Full-time, independent contractor role (about 40 hours per week)
