Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Specialist with strong expertise in database design, performance tuning, query optimization, and production database support. The ideal candidate will ensure database performance, reliability, security, and scalability while supporting enterprise data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases to support business and application requirements.
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting of complex SQL queries.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and data pipelines.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, scalability, and optimal performance of PostgreSQL databases.
• Monitor production database environments, identify performance bottlenecks, and resolve database issues.
• Implement database security, backup, recovery, and data protection best practices.
• Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, and business teams to deliver effective database solutions.
• Evaluate new PostgreSQL features and recommend improvements to database architecture and performance.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience in database design, stored procedures, functions, and indexing strategies.
• Experience in production database monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
