Cathara Consulting are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer for a contract opportunity through to Christmas, supporting the delivery of critical reporting, analytics and business intelligence initiatives within a large enterprise environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, data engineers and project teams to develop high-quality Power BI solutions that provide accurate and actionable insights.

You will be an experienced Power BI Developer with strong technical expertise across enterprise reporting, data modelling and analytics.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, data engineers and project teams to develop high-quality Power BI solutions that provide accurate and actionable insights.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards and visualisations.
- Build and maintain Power BI Semantic Models and scalable data models.
- Develop complex DAX measures, KPIs, calculations and business logic.
- Integrate data from enterprise platforms including Databricks, AWS data lakes and other business systems.
- Gather and translate business requirements into effective reporting and analytical solutions.
You will be an experienced Power BI Developer with strong technical expertise across enterprise reporting, data modelling and analytics.
- Advanced experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), SQL and data modelling.
- Proven experience developing enterprise-grade dashboards and working with large, complex datasets.
- Strong understanding of dashboard design, data visualisation and reporting best practices.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and modern cloud-based data architectures.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
