About the job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights through compelling visualisations and dashboards. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a data-driven environment and has a passion for leveraging analytics to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Work closely with stakeholders to elicit and document requirements, manage expectations and collaborate on solution design.

• Optimise Power BI reports, DAX measures, and queries for performance and usability.

• Integrate data from various sources, leverage existing semantic models, and transform data for Business Intelligence reporting.

• Maintain and enhance existing reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

• Implement row-level security and data access controls as per organisational needs.

• A self-starter, happy to take ownership of your deliverables and take the initiative to drive end-to-end outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience designing, building, and enhancing BI dashboards and visualisation solutions using Power BI, SQL, and related tools.

• Proven experience developing dashboards, data quality reporting, and business metrics.

• Strong understanding of BI concepts, reporting practices, and Power BI solution integration.

• Expertise in Power BI, Power Query, and DAX, with advanced SQL experience.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.

• Strong data storytelling skills, translating analysis into clear presentations and business outcomes.

• Experience working with complex data environments and collaborating with business, source-system, and data teams.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within tight deadlines.

• Ability to translate business problems into clear analytical and reporting requirements.

Educational Qualification: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent quantitative discipline.
