POWER BI DEVELOPER / REPORT ANALYST
Summary
A six-month, on-site contract role with Standard Hospitality Group's Data Analytics team in Mandaluyong: building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and star-schema semantic models, writing advanced DAX and SQL, reconciling reports against SAP Business One, POS, and HRIS, and administering Power BI Service (workspaces, gateways, RLS, refreshes).
Salary: ₱40,000 – ₱60,000 per month
About the role
Standard Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced Power BI Developer / Reports Analyst to join its Data Analytics team on a six-month engagement. The successful candidate will support the Data Analytics Manager in delivering accurate, timely, and decision-ready business reports across SHG and Framework companies. This role involves developing Power BI dashboards, building semantic data models, validating data accuracy, and automating manual reporting processes.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, publish, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for sales, store operations, inventory, procurement, finance, and HR
Translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs, visualizations, and drill-down reports
Apply consistent reporting standards for layout, naming, and accessibility
Build and maintain semantic models using star-schema design principles
Develop and optimize DAX measures for time intelligence, period comparisons, and variance analysis
Improve report performance through efficient data modeling, storage modes, aggregations, and incremental refresh
Write SQL queries to explore, validate, and transform data
Reconcile Power BI reports against source systems, including SAP Business One, POS, and HRIS
Manage Power BI workspaces, apps, scheduled refreshes, gateways, deployment pipelines, and row-level security
Gather and clarify reporting requirements with business users
About you
Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
At least 3 years of hands-on Power BI development experience, with reports deployed and used by management
Strong proficiency in Power BI, advanced DAX, and SQL
Solid understanding of data modeling, star schemas, fact tables, and dimension tables
Experience with Power BI Service administration, workspaces, row-level security, gateways, and scheduled refreshes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
