Power BI Developer

Salary: £25,000 - 65,000 per year

• At least five GCSEs
• At least two years experience in reporting and at least two years experience with Power BI
• Flexible approach to work and ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the business
• Strong time and task management skills, quick learning ability, and good written and oral communication skills
• High level of confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
• Confident manner and ability to meet deadlines while remaining focused
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience with business system development and process flows
• Knowledge of database architecture and design
• Experience with SQL and Power BI
• Good understanding of PowerQuery and DAX
• Competence with Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across a range of departments and with varied data, including finance, operations, and call centre data
• Experience working in an evolving, Agile environment
• Microsoft Fabric experience is beneficial
• Unrestricted and ongoing right to work in the UK for the duration of employment, without sponsorship or time-limited permission or conditions attached

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce redundancy
• Translate business requirements into effective business intelligence and reporting solutions
• Work with multiple datasets and data sources across systems, including SaaS, T-SQL, and SharePoint
• Ensure reports are accurate, consistent, timely, and aligned with business definitions
• Support the ongoing enhancement of our business intelligence reporting environment
• Liaise between the business and our IT department
• Work with stakeholders, internal Business Analysts, and Developers to understand reporting requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver reliable, scalable business intelligence solutions
