The Role
You'd be joining at an important time in their data transformation journey as the company look to move away from traditional reporting and legacy data platforms towards a modern, cloud based data ecosystem built on Microsoft Fabric, Purview, Azure DevOps and Power BI. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the migration from traditional reporting approaches to Microsoft Fabric, helping establish the foundations for self-service analytics
- Take ownership of semantic modelling and reporting standards within Microsoft Fabric, ensuring the analytics platform is scalable, permanent and supports future growth
- Manage and mentor a team of Power BI specialists
- Deliver intuitive Power BI dashboards and data products that enable colleagues to make informed decisions using trusted, accessible data
- Work in partnership with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement
The Requirements

- Experience delivering reporting solutions using modern data platforms using Fabric and Synapse
- Bring recognised expertise in Power BI data analysis as well as recognised Microsoft credentials
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, OneLake and Direct Lake
- Previous experience of managing reporting teams
- Technical knowledge and expertise in semantic modelling, DAX, SQL and Python
