Power Electronics Engineer
Requirements
- Strong
commitment and passion for engineering, especially power
electronics, with a drive to create new ideas and convert them into
real-world solutions.
- Strong
work ethic with a bias for action and readiness to work outside
one’s comfort zone.
- Solid
background and deep understanding of AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion
topologies.
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Designing
and putting into practice multi‑kilowatt power electronics hardware and control firmware.
- Working
with power semiconductor devices (20 V to 1200 V voltage class).
- Understanding
switching characteristics, loss mechanisms in Si, SiC, and GaN power semiconductor technologies, and designing gate drivers and
protection circuits.
