Summary
Migrate legacy apps and automations into Power Apps and Power Automate, building Canvas/Model-driven apps and cloud flows while following ALM and governance rules.
Project Context
Execute the technical migration and remediation of legacy applications, scripts, automations, and user interfaces into Power Apps, Power Automate, and approved platform components. The role delivers working solutions that follow architectural patterns, ALM practices, and governance constraints.
Goals and Deliverables
- Rebuild complex Apps Script logic into optimised Power Automate cloud flows, Power Apps functions, or approved components.
- Develop Canvas and/or Model-driven Power Apps with a focus on usability, performance, maintainability, and accessibility.
- Implement reusable components from the component catalogue, or build new components aligned with platform governance when needed.
- Configure connectors, data sources, variables, permissions, and error-handling patterns according to approved guardrails.
- Package solutions using managed/unmanaged solution practices and contribute to ALM pipelines.
- Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and technical documentation for handover.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts on acceptance criteria and with Architects on solution alternatives.
- Support citizen developers through coaching, code/design review, and escalation of complex use cases.
- Contribute to migration factory productivity by standardising templates, scripts, and repeatable build patterns.
- Participate in sprint reviews and help transition applications to run support.
