Power Platform Engagement Architect
Summary
Design and govern scalable Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) that migrate legacy Google Workspace apps to secure, compliant Azure environments.
Summary:
The primary function of this role is to act as the main liaison between Global Business Units (GBUs) and the Power Platform Migration Factory, overseeing solution architecture and governance for important migration projects. The aim is to ensure that business requirements are translated into effective, scalable, and secure Power Platform solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for GBUs entering the Power Platform migration programme.
Conduct workshops and interviews to understand current business processes, applications, pain points, and ownership gaps.
Assess legacy Google Workspace solutions like AppSheet, Apps Script, and Google Sheets requiring migration.
Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical solution proposals.
Identify business criticality, dependencies, compliance requirements, data sensitivity, and migration priorities.
Facilitate stakeholder alignment and expectation management throughout the migration lifecycle.
Design scalable and governed solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SQL Server, and related Azure services.
Define target-state architectures, solution blueprints, reusable design patterns, and architecture decision records.
Perform architecture impact analysis for connectors, environments, licensing, capacity, identity, and service account requirements.
Challenge non-standard or complex remediation proposals and guide teams toward maintainable, supportable platform patterns.
Ensure alignment with enterprise security, compliance, DLP, ALM, and supportability standards.
Participate in ARB reviews and governance forums for architecture-significant demands.
Guide developers, business analysts, and citizen developers toward approved platform practices.
Support backlog refinement with complexity, dependency, sequencing, and architecture inputs.
Review UAT outcomes and validate architectural compliance before production deployment.
Support transition to run operations and platform support teams, ensuring ownership and key design decisions are captured.
Key Requirements:
Extensive experience with Azure Integration Services.
Proficient in Power Apps Canvas development.
Strong knowledge of Dataverse.
Expertise in Power Automate.
Experience in Power Platform architecture.
Technical proficiency in designing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Google Workspace solutions migration strategies.
Familiarity with architecture decision documentation methods.
