The job The team Your qualifications We offer The process About us The job Here’s what the job entails As our new Lead Power Trader, you will be responsible for overseeing all power trading activities in Brazil. You will lead the development and execution of trading strategies, hold full P&L responsibility, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your areas of responsibility will include: Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize profitability and monitor market trends. You will execute trades within authorized limits and risk parameters Utilize statistical models and data analytics tools to interpret market data, forecast demand, and identify patterns that impact the power sector Conduct detailed market analysis to identify trading opportunities and develop models to forecast market trends Monitor and manage trading risks, ensuring adherence to risk limits and collaborate with the risk management team to develop and refine risk policies Ensure all trading activities comply with local regulations and market rules, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and their impact on trading activities Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulators.
