Power Transformer Electrical Design Engineer – 2 vacant positions

Role: Electrical design of power transformers rated up to 50 MVA, 132 kV class.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs and bills of materials in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.
• Prepare customer technical submittals.
• Review complete manufacturing and fabrication drawings to confirm compliance with customer specifications.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Production, and Quality Assurance departments, as well as suppliers and customers.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in power transformer design within a transformer manufacturing company.
• Experience in power transformer design in accordance with IEC and ANSI standards.
• Experience with foil winding, continuously transposed conductors (CTC), disc winding, hermetically sealed and conservator-type transformers, and on-load tap changers.
• Knowledge of FoxPro, DestDT, iTRACS, or other transformer design software, and Microsoft Windows.
• Knowledge of comprehensive transformer calculations, including short-circuit (SC), loading, cooling, and impulse calculations.
• Strong communication and supervision skills.
