POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECH SUPV

You will serve as a POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECH SUPV in the Facilities Sustainment Division and Elect Maint Branch of NAVAL STATION.

You will supervise workers directly or through subordinate lead mechanics in accomplishing the work of an organizational segment or group.

You will plan / coordinate the distribution and integration of operations among work areas and employees based on priorities and schedules production and workload requirements, and the availability of equipment and personnel.

You will work with the product and operations managers to ensure proper scheduling and timing of work activities.

You will implement corrective actions to resolve work problems such as equipment shortages, limited staffing of personnel and conflicting priorities of requirements.

You will inspect / oversee operation of the electrical distribution system as well as the maintenance repair activities to ensure proper quality of electrical output, efficiency, and safety.

You will monitor and report to product and operations managers as to the progress of work, technical and personnel issues, additional equipment or personnel requirements, and of additional required schedule adjustments.

You will conduct training and execute professional development of personnel.
