POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECHANIC

This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted position for a POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECHANIC, Position Description Number PDD1067000, and is part of the SC AASF, South Carolina Army National Guard.

This position is located in the Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF), Logistics function or the Aviation Classification and Repair Activity Depot (AVCRAD). The primary purpose for the position is to perform duties involving the maintenance and repair of power ground and other support equipment used in aircraft servicing and repairs. This position requires military membership. It is designated for an ARNG Enlisted incumbent only. In accordance with DA Pamphlet 611-21, the incumbent performs duties necessary to accomplish Powered Support Systems functions in support of programs essential to state ARNG daily operations, training, and readiness missions. Work involves the maintenance and repair of powered ground and similar support equipment used for aircraft ground servicing; missile, aircraft, air control, and radar installations powered support; field combat support; engineering and construction project support; and general utilities, including standby and emergency power generating systems.
