POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECHANIC (HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICIAN)

The primary purpose of this position is to install, operate, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical power production equipment and associated components, electrical distribution equipment, and aircraft arresting barriers.

- Installs, inspects, and performs modifications and repairs to electrical power support systems - Installs, repairs or replaces, modifies, loads and tests new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, panels, switches, breakers and controls - Performs preventive maintenance on electrical power support systems - Troubleshoots electrical power support systems such as electrical power plants and power distribution equipment - Troubleshoots distribution circuits and generating and controlling equipment. Maintains records and documents actions. - Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment
