Powersports Sales/Service Porter

Hexco Motorsports is looking for an entry-level service porter for our service/sales department. This position would be responsible for unit acceptance and inspections, cleaning, and organization of service areas and parking areas, assisting the service mechanics, performing minor facilities and equipment maintenance work, and assisting as needed on customer's ATV's, Snowmobiles, UTV's, Motorcycles, and Jet Ski's. We are looking for a highly organized professional, someone who has mechanic experience, who takes pride in his or her work, and can perform various customer service duties as required throughout the day. The ideal candidate would have basic computer knowledge, a high school diploma or equivalent, and motorsports knowledge. We are a small shop, so we need a professional with a flexible schedule and a willingness to work overtime when needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:

• Inspecting and tagging incoming units
• Assisting with unloading and photographing of units
• Parking and staging units for service activity
• Picking up and delivering customer units
• Assisting with inventory and retail operations when needed
• Performing lawn maintenance and snow removal
• Bringing units to delivery areas and assisting customers with unloading when needed
• Contacting customers via phone, text or email to advise of service appointment dates
• Assisting with tire changes and balancing
• Assisting technicians in routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles
• Willingness to learn with hands-on training
• Helping to keep the repair shop clean and organized
