This role will partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Finance. This role serves as the organization’s central source of market insight – delivering rigorous analysis, competitive intelligence, develop PR campaigns aligned with business goals, coordinate announcements (product launches, partnerships, events), draft speeches, statements, blog posts, and social content, and forward–looking perspectives that inform business prioritization, market entry, positioning, and long-term strategy. In a rapidly evolving Smart Street Lighting / IoT landscape, this position ensures strategy decisions are data driven, commercially grounded, and aligned with scalable growth objectives. |
Role Purpose
The purpose of the PR and Global Market Intelligence Specialist is to serve as the organizations central source of market insight – translating complex internal and external data into clear, actionable intelligence that informs growth strategy. The role enables leadership to assess new market opportunities, refine competitive positioning, inform commercial structures for additional solutions/applications, and align product and go-to-market strategies with the identified data-grounded opportunities. Ultimately, this position ensures that the company’s next phase of expansion is guided by rigorous analysis, commercial discipline, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. |

Responsibilities:
1) Brand Positioning: Ensure the application of brand guidelines and brand templates and inform the organization on the importance of brand alignment and positioning.
2) Events Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver smaller events to ensure that the events are produced according to schedule, within budget, and meet all deadlines, and work closely with, and coordinate activities of, all other parties involved in the design, development, sales, marketing, and delivery of the events.
3) Sales Promotion: Develop and implement standard sales promotion programs to boost sales and customer loyalty, following the guidelines.
4) Marketing Communications: Contribute to the development and delivery of marketing communications campaigns across all media to support the business plan and increase sales.
5) Supplier Management: Maintain day-to-day contact with business-critical suppliers and respond to complex incidents with suppliers or supplies/services to analyze performance and provide feedback on key supplier management indicators.
6) Content Creation: Collate and summarize information for use in developing content and write first drafts of straightforward content for print or websites.
7) Marketing Campaign Development: Carry out supplier and contract management tasks to support advertising, promotion, and other marketing campaigns.
8) Multiagency Work: Work collaboratively with other professional teams and over organizational boundaries to ensure service users experience cohesive and seamless support to meet their needs.
9) Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Educational Requirements: Short-Cycle Tertiary Education
General Experience Requirement: Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months)
Managerial Experience Requirement: Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months)
