PR & Communications Manager
Job Overview
Support the Association’s industry initiatives through communications, stakeholder engagement, and secretariat support.
Responsibilities:
1. Communications and Public Relations
Manage media relations, press releases, communications materials, and events.
Oversee social media and digital communications to enhance industry and consumer outreach.
Work with external PR consultants and member companies on communications initiatives.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with member companies, regulators, government agencies, and other organisations.
Coordinate industry initiatives, surveys, and information gathering.
Support the preparation of industry reports, presentations, and publications.
3. Secretariat Support
Provide secretariat support for committees and working groups.
Coordinate meetings, agendas, papers, minutes, and follow-up actions.
Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately.
4. Industry and Regulatory Awareness
Keep up to date with relevant industry developments, regulations, policies, and guidelines.
Support other projects and initiatives as required.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Insurance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations, marketing, insurance, or a related field.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, or regulatory-related work.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
