Practical Nurse Extern - Birthing Center/Night's

The Practical Nurse Extern works under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs selected and delegated nursing tasks in the care of patients in the Birthing Center.

Education Required: Must be a practical nursing student attaining senior status from an accredited nursing program. Preferred to have completed at least one acute care clinical, acute care theory class and a pharmacology course.

Related Years of Experience Required: Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) experience preferred.

Credential/Licensure Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Shift: Working night shift in the Birthing Center, number of hours a week to be determined on candidate.
