Practical Nurse (Outpatient)
About the Position: This Position is located at Camp Pendleton CA, within the Primary care Family Health clinic. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Provide individualized nursing care to patient based upon the physician’s medical care plan, the nursing assessment, and the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the patient.
Assist the physician with various examinations and diagnostic procedures.
Prepare medications and immunizations for administration.
Perform routine procedures, such as eye, throat, nasal and/or wound cultures, dressing changes, ear irrigation, and application of bandages.
Recognize adverse signs and symptoms immediately and calls for assistance and if the situation warrants it, performs CPR immediately.
Set up, operate, and monitor specialized equipment.
