The Opportunity

An established and growing accountancy practice is seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to join its team. This role offers excellent exposure across all areas of accounting, taxation, and client management within a supportive, close-knit environment.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple service lines, work directly with Partners and clients, and benefit from comprehensive study support and career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of draft audit-exempt accounts to Partner review stage.

• Preparation and submission of Annual Returns and Abridged Accounts to the CRO.

• Preparation and filing of Income Tax, Corporation Tax, PAYE, VAT, and RCT returns.

• Payroll processing and company secretarial filings.

• Managing your own portfolio of clients while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring timely delivery of services.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a small or medium-sized accountancy practice.

• Strong technical knowledge across income tax, corporation tax, PAYE, RCT, and VAT.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with accounting systems such as Relate, Surf, Sage, or Xero.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Proactive, flexible, and capable of working independently or within a team.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
