Practice Manager | Lumino Kaitaia | Full-Time, Fixed Term
As Practice Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice while supporting both our patients and team members.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting a high-performing team to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Managing reception operations and providing front-of-house support when required.
- Overseeing practice administration, staff scheduling, and daily operational workflows.
- Supporting a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Managing patient enquiries and ensuring an outstanding patient experience.
- Monitoring practice performance, billing processes, and operational efficiency.
- Working closely with clinicians and support teams to achieve practice goals and drive continuous improvement.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee development initiatives as required.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
Hours for this role
This is a full-time, fixed-term position (6 months).
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday : 8:30am to 5:15pm
- Friday : 08:30am to 4:00pm
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about leading people.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in a Practice Manager, Office Manager, Team Leader, Business Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A positive, solutions-focused approach.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within healthcare, dental, or a customer-focused industry would be highly regarded.
- Strong administration and computer skills.
- The ability to motivate, coach, and support team members to achieve success.
- Valid NZ work rights
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance of Kaitaia and be committed to becoming a valued member of the local community.
