As Practice Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice while supporting both our patients and team members.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting a high-performing team to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Managing reception operations and providing front-of-house support when required.
  • Overseeing practice administration, staff scheduling, and daily operational workflows.
  • Supporting a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Managing patient enquiries and ensuring an outstanding patient experience.
  • Monitoring practice performance, billing processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Working closely with clinicians and support teams to achieve practice goals and drive continuous improvement.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee development initiatives as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.

Hours for this role

This is a full-time, fixed-term position (6 months).

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday : 8:30am to 5:15pm
  • Friday : 08:30am to 4:00pm

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about leading people.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in a Practice Manager, Office Manager, Team Leader, Business Manager, or similar leadership role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A positive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within healthcare, dental, or a customer-focused industry would be highly regarded.
  • Strong administration and computer skills.
  • The ability to motivate, coach, and support team members to achieve success.
  • Valid NZ work rights

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance of Kaitaia and be committed to becoming a valued member of the local community.
