Location:

This position is based in Modesto, California. You will work in-office during training, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid schedule with up to 2 work-from-home days per week after training.

Note:

You must be admitted to practice law in California and able to work from our Modesto office during training. Prior personal injury experience is preferred but not required. Newly licensed and early-career attorneys are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Description

  • Manage pre-litigation personal injury matters and help move cases efficiently from intake through resolution.
  • Communicate directly with clients, explain the claims process, and provide responsive, compassionate guidance.
  • Evaluate liability, damages, medical treatment, and other key issues affecting case value and strategy.
  • Review medical records, settlement demands, supporting documentation, and case files.
  • Negotiate with insurance carriers and work toward favorable settlements for clients.
  • Collaborate closely with case managers and support teams to keep cases progressing.
  • Assist with prospective client intake and evaluate potential new personal injury matters.
  • Develop confidence in legal analysis, negotiation, client counseling, and real-time case evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license required.
  • Newly licensed and early-career attorneys are welcome.
  • Strong written, verbal, research, and analytical skills.
  • Confident, professional, and empathetic communication style.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Personal injury or plaintiff-side experience preferred but not required.
  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
