Core Responsibilities
- Pre-Owned Inspections: Perform comprehensive used-vehicle reconditioning inspections (multi-point safety and mechanical checks) to prepare vehicles for the front line.
- Quality Repairs: Diagnose, maintain, and repair used vehicles of all makes and models with efficiency and accuracy.
- Full-System Maintenance: Execute repairs on automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Clear Communication: Partner closely with the Pre-Owned Service Advisor and Used Car Manager to provide accurate repair estimates and digital vehicle inspections (DVIs).
- Efficiency Focus: Maintain high production standards to help reduce dealership cycle time from trade-in to front-row ready.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: Strong automotive mechanical and diagnostic background, with a proven track record of working on various makes and models.
- Credentials: ASE Certifications are highly preferred and ideal.
- Efficiency Mindset: Ability to quickly assess vehicle needs and turn high-quality flat-rate hours.
- Pre-Employment: Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Driving Record: Must possess a clean and valid driver's license.
