Pre-Owned Vehicle Reconditioning Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Pre-Owned Vehicle Reconditioning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be a vital contributor to our inventory turnaround, collaborating directly with service management and the sales department to ensure every pre-owned vehicle meets high standards of mechanical reliability and safety.

You should be confident diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing a wide variety of domestic and import makes and models, as well as communicating findings clearly using modern digital inspection tools.

Qualifications & Skills

• • Licensing (Required): Valid Pennsylvania State Safety Inspection and Emissions licenses (current and in good standing).
  • Brand Experience: Prior Ford dealership or certified training experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional automotive repair and diagnostic experience (multi-line or pre-owned recon background preferred).
  • Technical Breadth: Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort servicing diverse makes, models, and model years.
  • Inspection Standard: Thorough understanding of multi-point inspection processes and comfort recording concise, professional vehicle video walkthroughs.
  • Tools: Own set of professional automotive diagnostic equipment and hand/air/power tools.
  • Certifications: ASE certifications are a plus.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
  • Mindset: Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to high standards of workmanship and team communication.
