- Provide expert-level technical guidance for the design and implementation of mission-critical mechanical systems.
- Work closely with internal sales and engineering teams to develop tailored solutions for prospective and existing clients.
- Lead early-stage qualification, specification, and logistics planning for data center projects.
- Support estimating efforts by reviewing project specifications and coordinating with procurement teams.
- Develop comprehensive system configurations and integration plans to support optimal performance and reliability.
- Serve as a key liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, communicating complex technical concepts to audiences ranging from operations teams to executive leadership.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-departmental collaboration to enhance service offerings and support business growth.
- 10+ years of experience in mission-critical mechanical infrastructure and mechanical design.
- Extensive expertise in mission-critical mechanical systems, specifications, and deployment.
- Strong understanding of data center facility operations and mechanical distribution.
- Familiar with ASHRAE Thermal Guidelines
- Advanced technical writing skills for documentation, proposals, and project specifications.
- Proven ability to lead projects from concept through execution, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Comfortable communicating at all organizational levels, from field operations to C-suite executives.
- Experience with Vertiv, Stulz, York, Daikin, and other leading mechanical providers preferred.
- Prior experience managing large enterprise accounts within the data center industry preferred.
- Familiarity with commissioning procedures for mission-critical facilities preferred.
- Strong project management and business development skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Advanced technical writing skills for documentation, proposals, and project specifications.
- Master Mechanical License preferred.
- No direct supervisory responsibilities specified.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or working on a computer.
