A leading technology solutions provider is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer / Manager to support the design and delivery of integrated physical security solutions for enterprise and mission-critical environments. The organisation works closely with customers, technology partners and internal delivery teams to develop scalable and cost-effective security solutions.
Your new role
As a Pre-Sales Engineer / Manager, you will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop integrated physical security solutions tailored to their operational and security needs. You will play a key role in solution design, tender responses, costing, technical validation and customer presentations throughout the sales cycle.
You will be responsible for designing and proposing integrated security solutions across access control, surveillance and perimeter protection technologies. Working closely with project delivery teams, you will ensure a seamless transition from solution design through to implementation. The role also requires collaboration with technology partners and vendors to ensure proposed solutions remain robust, scalable and aligned with industry standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in IT, Engineering, Security or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in pre-sales, system integration or a related technical environment within the physical security industry
- Strong understanding of integrated physical security platforms and technologies
- Experience supporting solution design, technical proposals, tenders, costing and solution validation
- Ability to conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
