Pre Sales Engineer Reference / Realtime Financial Data

As a Pre Sales Engineer, you will bridge business and technical needs in real-time market data delivery. You will support both pre- and post-sale activity, becoming the expert on the platform and client architecture. You’ll engage directly with clients to shape the technical engagement and drive sales within the realtime data space. • Provide technical SME input across the platform
• Manage pre- and post-sales experiences
• Develop deep understanding of client architecture, infra, and apps
• Oversee client communications for technical engagements
• Lead client engagement by coordinating all sales activities related to realtime data

• Strong technical market data experience
• Degree in Financial or Scientific subject (ideally Computer Science)
• Experience with top data vendors (Markit, Reuters, Bloomberg, IDC, SIX) or similar
• Experience with product development lifecycle and requirements scoping
• Excellent presentation and client-facing communication skills
• Programming skills
• Knowledge of market data APIs and protocol technologies (SSL, RFA, MAMA, TibRV, RWF/OMM, Marketfeed)
• Understanding of market data contributions and real-time publishing concepts
