Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales / Solution Engineer to support our sales team in developing and delivering security and surveillance solutions for customers.
The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in the security / electronic security industry, with hands-on experience in project-based solutions and the ability to independently develop technical solutions based on customer requirements.
You will work closely with the Sales team and customers to understand project requirements, design suitable security solutions, prepare technical proposals and provide technical support throughout the pre-sales process.
Job Responsibilities
● Understand customers' requirements, project specifications and site conditions.
● Develop security and surveillance solutions based on customer requirements.
● Independently prepare technical proposals, system designs, specifications, BOMs, system architecture and quotations.
● Work closely with the Sales team to develop practical and commercially viable solutions.
● Conduct site visits, site surveys and technical discussions when required.
● Provide technical consultation and respond to customers' technical enquiries.
● Present and explain proposed solutions to customers in a clear and professional manner.
● Support the Sales team throughout the pre-sales and project tender process.
● Keep up to date with security products, technologies and industry developments.
Job Requirements
● Diploma or Degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics, or related disciplines.
● Relevant experience in the security / electronic security / surveillance industry is required.
● Proven experience in project-based security solutions and system design.
● Familiarity with CCTV, access control, alarm systems, video surveillance or other
electronic security systems will be an advantage.
● Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
