Pre-sales Specialist [CCP for ICT Professionals (Sales and Marketing)]
1. Pre-Sales Activities:
Needs Analysis & Solution Matching:
- Engage with potential customers through meetings, calls, and presentations to thoroughly understand their unique HR processes, pain points, and business objectives.
- Analyse gathered information to identify specific customer requirements and recommend the most suitable HR software modules and configurations.
- Develop a deep understanding of the full suite of the company's HR software products and related services to effectively match solutions to customer needs.
Product Demonstrations & Presentations:
- Conduct compelling and tailored product demonstrations, showcasing the software's capabilities and benefits to prospective clients.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations that effectively articulate the value proposition of the HR software, highlighting its ROI and competitive advantages.
- Address customer questions and concerns with expertise, providing clear and concise explanations of the software's functionality and features.
Sales Collaboration & Solution Development:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop customized proposals and solutions that address specific client requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and input during the sales cycle, assisting in the development of accurate and comprehensive statements of work (SOWs).
- Contribute to the creation of sales collateral, including presentations, demos, and product documentation, as needed.
System Workarounds & Customization Recommendations:
- Analyse client workflows and identify potential gaps between standard software functionality and specific client needs.
- Propose creative and practical workarounds within the existing system to address client requirements without requiring extensive custom development.
- Document and communicate recommended workarounds to both internal teams and clients in a clear and understandable manner.
- Where applicable, clearly communicate the limitations of the system.
2. Implementation Activities:
Customer Communication & Requirements Gathering:
- Establish and maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the implementation process.
- Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions to fully understand client's HR processes, data migration needs, and system configuration preferences.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase, addressing their questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
Project Planning & Management:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Prepare all necessary project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and user manuals.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Manage project changes and update project documentation accordingly.
System Configuration & Setup:
- Configure the HR software system according to client specifications, including setting up user roles, workflows, and data fields.
- Perform data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any system configuration issues that may arise during the implementation process.
Functional Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute comprehensive functional test plans to ensure the system meets client requirements and performs as expected.
- Conduct thorough testing of all system functionalities, including data entry, reporting, and workflow processes.
- Document and report any defects or issues identified during testing, and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Complete final user acceptance testing with the client.
Client Training & Support:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive system training sessions for client end-users, covering all aspects of the HR software functionality.
- Create and maintain user documentation, including training manuals and online help resources.
- Provide ongoing post-implementation support to clients, addressing their questions and resolving any issues that may arise.
3. Other Duties:
- Perform any other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the manager, including participation in internal meetings, process improvement initiatives, and knowledge sharing activities.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the products features, and new updates.
- Document all presales and implementation activities.
