Premium Hospitality Supervisor - Golf and Special Events

A Hospitality Supervisor is the point person in premium hospitality spaces where guests are ticketed and receive complimentary food and beverages. This role is the direct contact for clients in their area and will oversee buffet appearance, logistics, and F&B time management. The Hospitality Supervisor will oversee a front of house team including servers, bartenders, cocktail servers, and interactive chefs. Work in conjunction with the BOH lead/ Chef to ensure a smooth operation overall. The ideal candidate for this position has strong food & beverage experience or learns quickly by doing, can think on their feet, and has a flexible and positive personality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Effectively creating and maintaining buffets that are appealing to the eye and space functional for a variety of food and beverage items.
  • Be the point person between back of house operations and the client/front of house team.
  • Organization of product, food items, and equipment in your prep area.
  • Inventory and product management – ordering needed equipment efficiently. Clean equipment, utensils and appliances and properly store food and beverage supplies; assure compliance with sanitation and safety procedures and regulations; clean refrigerators and storerooms as required.
  • Assist in storing unused food and supplies; dispose of unusable leftovers; utilize proper methods of handling foods to be stored.
  • Assist with inventory and maintain routine records as directed; prepare records of food and beverage consumed vs. leftover.
  • Train hourly staff and ensure understanding of daily job duties. Oversee break schedules and ensure all staff signs in and out.
  • Be clean, neat, and professionally dressed at all times.
  • After completion of training, you will have gained the ability to work independently and effectively manage a hospitality location.
  • Maintain professional interpersonal skills using tact, patience, courtesy, and cooperative effective relationships with others and consistently display self-control, honesty with customers, guests and other staff.
