Proof of the Pudding, operator of DUKE University hospitality and concessions, is looking for Premium Servers to provide strong customer service to all premium hospitality areas, at DUKE University’s athletic events. We are offering competitive pay and on-the-job training at one of the most scenic venues in North Carolina.
This is seasonal/part-time work as business needs are dictated by athletic events.
essential duties and responsibilities
- Ensure the setting of suites, clubs, and buffets completely.
- Must be able to set up for events, carry equipment, serve guests, and clean up at the conclusion of the event.
- Quickly respond to guests needs.
- Maintain proper dining experience and fulfilling customer needs.
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
- Knowledge of event menu items and their contents.
- Responsible for setting buffet stations which may include décor.
- Running food to suites and concessions as needed.
- Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly, using proper serving and clearing techniques.
Performs other related duties as required.
