PreOp/PACU RN (Per Diem)

DISC Surgery Center is seeking a per diem PreOp/PACU RN for our Carlsbad location. This location specializes in orthopedic, pain management and spinal procedures and operates Monday - Friday. Shifts will vary based on business needs.

In this position, you will:

• Monitor post-operative patients' conditions and manage their pain levels
• Assess patients' vital signs and airways post-surgery
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
