Prep Cook - Hawks Training Facility

Proof of the Pudding (POP) is the food service provider for the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club at the Emory Sports Medicine Complex. This complex is the official practice facility of the Hawks. POP provides meal services multiple times per day year-round to ensure players, staff, and coaches are fueled with a health-focused menu.

POP is seeking additional Cooks to assist in daily food service preparations, clean up and service flips, and help the general manager in daily duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setting up and sanitizing workstations.
• Following prep lists created by Executive Chef
• Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.
• Assisting chefs in preparing food and attending to any culinary tasks that arise.
• Distributing plates to wait staff to be served, cleaning plates for dishwashing, and preparing takeaway packages for customers.
• Supervising food and cooling room temperatures.
• Accepting or rejecting ingredients from suppliers.
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen.
• Read thoroughly and understand the daily menus and recipes

Performs other related duties as required
