Summary
Prepares print-ready files and manages book logistics for a Singapore-based book manufacturer, using Photoshop, InDesign, and imposition software.
Use Photoshop, including curves and masking, to fine tune color in CMYK image files (Tiff, Jpeg, etc.)
Prepare PDFs for offset, sheet-fed printing, including generating Epson proofs, using InDesign and imposition software.
Manage logistics for materials and books, including liaising with freight forwarders and courier companies for import and export, as well as arranging local transport between our factory and 3rd party warehouse.
Internal work may also be required, including calculations for paper and other bookbinding materials, accounts-related data entry and coordination between office and pressroom.
