Presales Architect (Enterprise Infrastructure)

Our client is a highly established, award-winning technology solutions provider in Singapore, specializing in mission-critical enterprise and homeland security environments. They deliver end-to-end turnkey technology solutions - from initial design and integration to post-implementation maintenance.

We are currently partnering with them to hire a Presales Architect to join their infrastructure team. In this role, you will be the technical authority during the pre-sales cycle, partnering with sales teams and key technology vendors to design secure, highly resilient, large-scale Data Center and Private Cloud architectures for multi-million-dollar public sector and commercial projects.

What You Will Be Doing

• Technical Solutioning: Partner directly with clients to translate complex business and operational requirements into robust Enterprise Infrastructure Architectures (encompassing compute, storage, virtualization, backup, and network observability).

• Pre-Sales Drive: Lead product demonstrations, technical presentations, and Proof-of-Concept (POC) engagements to secure buy-in from both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Commercial Strategy: Develop comprehensive technical proposals, scope of work (SOW), and accurate costings/quotes in collaboration with the sales team to win enterprise tenders.

• Vendor Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with key technology principals and vendors to architect comprehensive, multi-layered solutions.

• Industry Leadership: Stay at the forefront of emerging data center trends, security best practices, and competitor offerings to ensure proposed solutions remain cutting-edge.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.

• Core Experience: At least 6 years of proven experience in large-scale Enterprise/Data Center infrastructure design, with a minimum of 2 years heavily focused on Software-Defined Data Centers (SDDC) and Private Cloud orchestration.

• Pre-Sales Pedigree: Demonstrated track record in a pre-sales or technical sales capacity, successfully managing multi-million-dollar enterprise or government projects.

• Domain Expertise: Deep technical familiarity with one or more of the following enterprise stacks:

  • Compute, Virtualization & Containers: VMware, Nutanix, Cisco, HPE, Dell, Microsoft.

  • Storage & Data Management: Pure Storage, Hitachi, EMC.

  • Data Protection: Veeam, Rubrik, Cohesity, Veritas.

  • Observability: Splunk, SolarWinds.

• Government Exposure: Familiarity with the Singapore Public Sector IT environment, specifically the IM8 framework, is a massive advantage.

• Certifications: Active professional certifications (e.g., VCDX, HPE, Azure Architect) are highly preferred.
