Presales Engineer - Data Infrastructure Center
Summary
Presales Engineer designing data-center infrastructure solutions, creating proposals, and demonstrating Dell EMC storage/server tech to clients.
- Gathering information from customer to identify customer's needs
- Analyzing, developing, and proposing technical solutions (technology and equipments)
- Making design, bill of material, scope of works, schedule and proposal
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Concept (POC) to clients.
- Provide pre-sales technical consultation and act as the key technical liaison between customers and internal teams.
- Coordinating with external parties (vendors, principals, distributors) to obtain required information (price, demo equipment, technical specifications) to provide technical solutions
- Coordinating with other department to provide required information before the project begin
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Computer Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Data Center, Infrastructure solution design, and pre-sales support.
- Experience with major vendors such as Dell Server & Dell EMC Storage (Server Gen 14-17, Unity Storage & Powerstore Storage)
- Experience with DSC/OSC for configuration Server & Storage
- Familiarity with operating system such VMware, Redhat, Windows Server
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Mandarin is an advantage).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
